About She Juggles

Wine + Frustration = Magic

Daily responsibilities can sometimes be completely overwhelming, and I know I cannot be alone in this sentiment. The idea for She Juggles came to me after an intense day of juggling all the things. With a second glass of wine in hand after my family had been asleep for hours, my mind was restless thinking about a business school project as I hunted for available web domains and Instagram handles on my phone for this fictional business that my team was supposed to create.

During my search, I got sidetracked with attempting to find a community of working mothers that were also in graduate programs because you know, misery needs company. To my surprise, I did not find the kind of community I wanted. In that moment, I thought about the phrase “she juggles” because well, we women juggle so much everyday. I immediately looked to see if the Instagram handle and domain were available. To my surprise, they were both unclaimed, and that my friends was the genesis of how She Juggles came to be. Give me wine and frustration, and the magic happens!

My hope for She Juggles is that it can become a platform for you to read other women’s stories on how they juggle all life’s demands in hopes to help you feel more connected and like there is someone in this world that understands.

I’m just getting started, so stay tuned for all that is to come! In the meantime, follow @SheJuggles on Instagram.

About Heather

I am a hopeless romantic that believes I can have my cake and eat it too. I am a Mississippi native, and I started my career chasing dreams of being a fashion magazine editor. (Think Andy Sachs from The Devil Wears Prada with the bangs and all.) Those ambitions morphed into leading global organizations' digital marketing and eCommerce. I have worked for nonprofits, B2B, and B2C companies across publishing, healthcare, financial payments, manufacturing, and retail.

I earned my B.A. in print journalism and studio art from the University of Mississippi. (Hotty Toddy!) I hold a M.S. in mass communication from Middle Tennessee State University, and I am a recent graduate of Vanderbilt University’s Executive MBA through Owen Graduate School of Management.

I live in Nashville, TN with my husband, two boys (8 & 6), and Labrador Retriever, Puck. Outside of work, you will find my husband and I shuttling our boys to their sports and activities, especially the hockey rink. (For all those hockey moms out there, give me your tips.)
